Trip to Andaluzia, Spain

Recently I made a small trip in Andaluzia, in South of Spain. The trip started in Cordoba, a very nice city on the banks of the river Guadalquivir. I started then to follow the Camino Mozarabe de Santiago with a friend, starting in Cerro Muriano, and in 5 days we reached Campanario Camino Mozarabe de Santiago. After a brief stay in Merida I reached Sevilla where I stayed for two days. My last stop was in Granada where I visited the city for another two days including the famous Alhambra castle, a jewel of Arabic architecture.

Trip to Tomar, Portugal

A roadtrip to Tomar in which I have seen the Ourem castle Ourem castle, Tomar templar castle and some caves located close to Fatima called Grutas de Moeda.

London and Cantenbury, Great Britain

A new trip to London, where I visited Science museum, Regents park and Camden market, Cantenbury, Richmond deer park.

Trip to Sintra, Portugal

A weekend trip to Sintra, close to Lisbon. In the first day we went to Pena national palace, Castle of the moors and we made a night visit to Military museum of Lisbon. The second day we have visited Sintra national palace, Quinta de Regaleiro, Monsserate palace, and the western continental point of Europe Cabo de Roca. On the way back to Braga we made a detour to visit the Almourol castle on rio Tejo.

Algarve, Portugal

A trip to Algarve for a few days between 23 and 28 April. The trip included  Faro, Vilamoura and the cave cruise, Tavira, Olhao. It was really interesting to see the unique nature of Ria Formosa.

Vacation in Scotland

I recently made a visit in Scotland with some friends. It was a really nice trip and I made a trip to Edinburgh and a tour to the Highlands, where we made a circular trip including Loch Ness and Urquhart castle.

Lanzarotte, Canary islands, Spain

A vacation trip in Lanzarotte at the end of 2012. It is a touristic island but it has places which are worth a visit. I made allot of pictures here starting with the place I stayed, in Areciffe: Areciffe . Not a very good choice for a stay, but is has good connections with the rest of the island, and is really easy to go around from here. First place I visited was Puerto del Carmen. Next day I went to Playa Blanca and the beaches of Papagayo: Playa Blanca . One of the reasons I have chosen Lanzarotte was to visit the Timanfaya national park with the volcanic side of the island: Timanfaya. Next was a trip to Costa Teguise: Costa Teguise . A car trip was a bit more efficient being able to visit Jardin del Cactus, Jameo del agua, Cueva de los Verdes, Miradouro de Rio and El Golfo. Next two trips were to Teguise and the last one to watch the waves in La Santa: La Santa.

Geres, Spain

A new trip to Geres, this time in the spanish side of the border, starting from the vilage Bubaces along a river with many beautifull waterfalls: waterfall river.

Romania 2012

A trip home in 2012 it allowed me to go to some places close to my parents place. First it was a visit to a cave in Polovragi: Polovragi cave. Another roadtrip got me to a dam called "Valea Mare" (Big Valley) Valea Mare, and then crossing the mountains to the sources of Cerna and a dam on Cerna river: Cerna.

A Guarda, Spain

A roadtrip to A Guarda in Spain, the place where the Minho river goes to the ocean. We passed on the bridge near Lovelhe on Spain, where we saw a old fortress: Lovelhe. Next we arrived on A Guarda, walked a bit on the beach, and we went to the old roman ruins in Castro de Santa Tegra, and passed the river back to Portugal on the ferry: A Guarda.
